• Knowledge of Project Management software like MS Project or others.
• Hands on attitude but not forgetting the “big picture”.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Prince 2 or PMP certificate.
• Track record for excellent client relationship building.
You must have a valid UK resident permit/passport, hold a valid driving licence and shall be able to travel to customer locations/sites in the UK and, from time to time, in Europe. The ability to speak French, German or Spanish is also an added advantage.
In return you will receive a salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum plus a bonus depending on experience.

Your principle aims will be to conduct feasibility reviews and produce accurate estimates incorporating design for manufacture and best cost practices. To manage Customer accounts in line with the relevant KPIs.
Skills:
Knowledge and experience of all relevant manufacturing processes. Estimating competence is essential. Able to read and understand engineering drawings. Communicate well at all levels both internally and with Customers. Computer literate with Microsoft word, excel & project Ability to read CAD data would be preferable. An understanding of ISO9001:2008 and TS16949 quality standards
Experience of working on assemblies which consist of 5 or more metal parts welded togeteher. These assemblies can be anything from 5kilos upto maybe 200 kilos. However, someone with experience of estimating most welded assemblies will be considered
Key Responsibilities:
· Schedule and organise cross functional feasibility review meetings and create/maintain relevant documents.
· Obtain sub-contract goods/service costs where applicable.
· Develop full cost estimates including all relevant tooling/sub-contract processes.
· Liaise with customers with regards design, manufacturability, VAVE and cost down.
· Support new product engineering throughout the APQP process.
· Support manufacturing, with regards to internal product/process improvement, problem solving and internal PPM improvements.
· Support purchasing where required.
