A Coventry based company that operates managed services centres in the EMEA region on behalf of the client portfolio, including many of the world’s largest banks and building societies is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join their team for Maternity cover. They provide services in the customer service, complaints, correspondence, fraud, disputes, chargeback’s, collections and debt management service lines, for both consumer and commercial customers.
As a Human Resources Manager your duties will include:
• To act as a support and update the business on all Employee Relations matters across the company
• To oversee the day to day running of the HR function in Coventry
• Implementing the HR Policy - ensure that all HR polices are updated in support of all legislative and business changes
• Employee Relations - proactively utilise cultural audits to develop a suite of ‘best practice’ policies, processes, and procedures in order to foster a positive Employee Relations climate
• Working with the HR Director to establish and chair the Sports and Social Club, Morale Committee and organise company events
The ideal Human Resources Manager will have the following skills and experiences:
• Previous experience managing and developing HR teams
• Previous experience of the implementation and project management of new HR systems
• Experience of preparing for and attending Employment Tribunals
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong analytical skills are essential with an ability to influence business activity being a strong asset
• The ability to co-ordinate and drive projects

This is an exciting opportunity to join an enthusiastic pastoral team who have created an innovative and supportive tutorial programme that supports the requirements of the current Common Inspection Framework. The role, based in the Sixth Form Centre is to work specifically with learners on the AS and or A2 programmes.
To be successful you will be qualified to degree level or equivalent and will ideally have a teaching qualification and/or experience of working with 16-19 year olds in an academic or pastoral context. You will be enthusiastic with a good understanding of our learners’ needs and difficulties as well as being self motivated and able to support, motivate and inspire reluctant learners. Good organisational, record keeping and good communication skills are required along with a flexible approach to working hours to accommodate their needs.
In addition you will have a good understanding of Safeguarding and an understanding of the wider issues surrounding education and training.
