***Nursery Teacher for Ipswich Area***

A small, friendly nursery in the Ipswich area are looking for a Nursery Teacher to join them from 10th June 2013 until end of July 2013. This is a full time temporary position with the potential to extend for the right candidate.

Your duties would include:

*supporting the children's development and learning through play
*building their language, literacy and numeracy ##EYFS##ls
*helping them achieve the learning goals of the EYFS
*encouraging co-operation and good behaviour
*making sure the children were safe at all times.
As well as working with the children, you would:

*plan and prepare activities and materials
*set out activities before classes and tidy up afterwards
*talk to parents or carers about their children’s development
*check children’s development and spot any problems
*keep records and carry out assessments for each child
*work closely with other professionals like social workers on child protection issues
*go to meetings and training courses.
You would also work with and supervise teaching assistants, nursery nurses and volunteer helpers

Hours of work would be 8.15am until 3.15pm.
