Part Time Payroller required for our Leicester based client.
You will be working for a small but highly reputable firm of Accountants on a part time basis, c.15-20 hours per week, (equivalent to 2½ to 3 days per week). Flexible hours but ideally to work over four or five part days per week.
Sage Payroll experience is essential.
You will be responsible for running multiple payrolls, so experience of working in a firm of accountants / payroll bureau / a business with weekly, two weekly and four weekly payrolls would be preferred.
You will be highly professional and be able to communicate with clients in a polite and helpful manner.
Applications will only be considered from candidates with payroll experience as training is not provided.

A leading Boutique Property Manager based in the west end of London, is currently looking to recruit an Accountant on a Part-time basis (3 days a week). The successful hire will be responsible for supporting the companies Financial Director and other partners across the business in a variety of ways.
However, your main responsibilities will include;
* Accounting for a number of entities using Sage Line 50 and spreadsheets.
* Fund II Administration including the preparation and calculation of drawdown Notices, distribution Notices (as required)
* Half Year Statement, Full Year Unaudited & Investor Update Reports
* Circulation of ad hoc reports as required, and maintenance of the Investor Contact details
* Fund and Investment Appraisal Modelling (inputting them as required)
* Provide tax accountants with information required to complete tax computations
* Involvement in the FCA (Completion of a variety of quarterly and annual returns, meeting quarterly FCA capital requirement of €50k, file annual accounts with FCA and file periodic changes)
* Involvement in Companies House (Annual returns for all entities and filing of all accounts (except LPs), filing of periodic changes (changes in Members details etc)
* Quarterly VAT return (online)
* Administration of bank accounts such as setting up bank accounts
* Issuing invoices and rent collection
* Ensure all invoices are appropriately approved, consistent with fee agreements etc
* Payments by HSBCnet or cheque
* Assistance with Fund and other Cash Flow Forecasts, whilst also raising twice yearly invoices for both Funds for Management Fees
* Ad hic duties include - Providing some cover for the PA/Office Manager when on holiday
Ideal candidates for the role will must be looking for part-time time employment opportunities working 3 days a week and paying up to circa £35-40k pro-rata! The successful candidate will have previous asset management experience and will be on no more than a months notice period. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading firm who have a great presence in the market. What's more candidates must have excellent IT skills (very important), previous working knowledge of Sage line 50 and MS Excel to pivots and Vlook ups.
