An opportunity has arisen for a teaching assistant in a mainstream school in Chatham. The role is to commence after the half term break in June. The school requires a qualified teaching assistant with experience supporting children with additional educational needs and challenging behaviours. Ideally you have NVQ L3, and a proven record of supporting the needs of children with SEN, specifically, ASD and EBD. Qualifications in Team Teach and PEC’s or Makaton would be highly regarded.
