My client is a ‘Good’ Ofsted 2012, oversubscribed 3-11; three form entry primary school (including nursery) with around 640 children. The school has a sharp focus for maximizing the achievement of students across all the key sages, whilst developing the whole individual.
An exciting and rewarding opportunity has arisen in middle management, for an enthusiastic and self-motivated, experienced primary school teacher or current Special Education Needs Co-ordinator to undertake a new and exciting role of a newly appointed SENCO within a forward thinking and innovative school environment. This Special Education Needs Co-ordinator position will involve reporting to and working closely with the current the Senior Leadership Team.
The successful Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator will be able to demonstrate excellent leadership and management skills have the ability to raise student achievement and enhance student potential, posses the ability to lead and support new initiatives, whilst also having the ability to work as part of a team
In return the school will offer the successful Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator, a positive and disciplined learning environment with a culture of success and high expectations, opportunities to work with successful and hard-working Phase Leaders and Senior Leadership Team develop leadership skills and whole school objectives and continuous professional development.
