Applicants for the position will ideally hold a full accountancy qualification and the client will consider candidates from either the retail and distribution sectors or ambitious individuals looking to make their first move out of practice. As a newly created position all applicants must be able to demonstrate their abilities to work under their own initiative and develop and implement new processes to assist the business. The interaction with the wider business necessitates that excellent communication and negotiation skills are also essential.
