IT Project Manager - Office Relocation
IT Project Manager required by leading media firm to manage a major office relocation project. You will be responsible for all the IT related elements of planning, scheduling, resourcing and executing the offices moves of a small number of West London locations to a new single site in Osterley Park.
You will need strong engagement with multiple business units involved, ensuring their specific requirements are understood and accomodated to ensure minimal impact to business activity and output.
Working within the firm's established project methodology / PMO framework you will:
* Produce the requirements and scope documentation for the various moves
* Plan project roles, responsibilities, budgets. timescales and resources
* Prepare a comprehensive project plan taking input from technical and business resources
* Assign tasks and activities to members of the project team and ensure the required results are delivered
* Achieve sign off sponsors and other stakeholders at key stages of the project
* Identify, analyse, measure and manage project risks
* Provide regular communication to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
* Ensure the project is conducted in accordance with IT Project Management Standards
* Undertake Post Implementation Reviews the project stages
Experience in supervising or managing people is an advatage, as is a recognised project management qualification and accreditation such as PRINCE2, MSP, PMBOK, APMP or Agile.
This is an exciting oppotunity to manage and deliver a major project for a globally recognised firm.
Please note that this is a 12 month fixed term contract position.
