Working in a busy environment, this position will provide a fantastic stepping stone for individuals looking to become a Design Engineer.

As a Design Draughtsperson you will be responsible for carrying out preliminary analysis to support key design and drawings. You will be expected to produce design details and associated drawings of structures and mechanical plant layouts using 3D CAD systems. This may also include assisting with conceptual design and the development of new company specific equipment.

To be successful within this role you must be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of engineering drawing codes and principals and be educated to at least HND level in a suitable engineering discipline or equivalent. Ideally you will have an understanding of specific technologies such as mechanics, fabrication, structural, hydraulics, electronics and welding. It is essential that you are competent using AutoCAD and 3D packages.

They primarily seek someone who will be able to undertake design engineering duties associated with the design, construction, certification, safe commissioning and operation of the organisations equipment procedures both on and offshore.
