A Key International Oil and Gas service provider are looking to increase the headcount of their design team to reflect growing demand within the energy industry and as such are actively recruiting for a Design Draughtsperson. Working in a busy environment, this position will provide a fantastic stepping stone for individuals looking to become a Design Engineer.

As a Design Draughtsperson you will be responsible for carrying out preliminary analysis to support key design and drawings. You will be expected to produce design details and associated drawings of structures and mechanical plant layouts using 3D CAD systems. This may also include assisting with conceptual design and the development of new company specific equipment.

To be successful within this role you must be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of engineering drawing codes and principals and be educated to at least HND level in a suitable engineering discipline or equivalent. Ideally you will have an understanding of specific technologies such as mechanics, fabrication, structural, hydraulics, electronics and welding. It is essential that you are competent using AutoCAD and 3D packages.

An Oil and Gas service company that specialise in the design and construction of specialised subsea mechanical equipment are looking to recruit Design engineers into their offices based in Southern England.
They primarily seek someone who will be able to undertake design engineering duties associated with the design, construction, certification, safe commissioning and operation of the organisations equipment procedures both on and offshore.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager your key responsibilities will include the development and preparation of equipment operation and project work packs, the management of construction and commissioning of equipment and ensuring existing equipment designs, specifications and drawings are maintained and to manage necessary changes.

We are looking for applications from individuals that have a degree in Engineering within the Mechanical or Structural areas that is supported by significant experience. You must be competent in 3D sketching, mathematical modelling and have a familiarity with normal office software packages.

You should be able to demonstrate post qualification experience within the subsea environment and ideally have a professional membership of a recognised engineering institution.

My client is looking for a blend Designer to assist in driving their studios visual treatment of interactive TV. You will help implement and execute on bold new graphical directions for their products and promote visual excellence in everything they do. Working closely with the Creative Director and Art Director you will be expected to deliver cutting edge graphical prototypes and treatments to support our projects.

Working with both the design & Creative media team, The Blend Designer will be instrumental in taking UI /Wireframe designs and artwork and creating functional products using blend for Visual studio. The position will also require the ability to work with other people’s artwork for implementation into blend products.

Skills/Experience required:
• In depth understanding Blend for Visual Studio / Expression Blend
• Experienced with XAML development
• Understanding of Art working in Photoshop and Illustrator
• Class leading portfolio
• Minimum of 3 years industry work experience at a senior level

The contract will run initially for 3 months with a view to this being extended.

It has a rare opportunity in its Creative Department for a Graphic Designer. You'll be joining a great group of people in a commercial yet creative environment, and this role will be what you make of it.
