Our Computer Aided Modelling Bureau provides invaluable support to high-profile criminal investigations and police operations. Specialising in sophisticated survey technologies and Computer Aided Design, our dynamic, close-knit team reconstruct and analyse crime scenes of varying size and complexity. Ultimately, the work is exhibited in court and our surveyors act as expert witnesses.

You’ll attend crime scenes and other sites (often at short notice), carrying out land and measured building surveys using both traditional and advanced laser scanning technologies. Combining your technical expertise with post-survey processing skills, you’ll also liaise with police officers, barristers and the Crown Prosecution Service to determine investigative requirements and product detail. Ever mindful of critical operational needs, your products will be ready for police investigation and criminal trial within challenging timescales. In addition, you’ll also manage survey data and building plans to assist Property Services in effective decision-making regarding the MPS estate.

With an established background in land and measured building survey company, you’ll have a broad range of practical experiences in measured surveying and CAD systems. Added to that, you’re proficient in best practice survey principles and post-processing survey software. A professional survey qualification, or completion of a recognised survey-related training course, will be ideal.
