Senior FAE - Automotive - Munich

My client manufactures sensor products for the automotive sector and is currently looking to add a Field Applications Engineer (FAE) to their team in Munich. This person could either have a strong sensor background in industrial, consumer, medical markets etc, or an automotive background without much exposure to sensor technology.

There is a very capable and supportive team within Europe who can help to fill knowledge gaps reasonably quickly.

This position itself will involve technical presentations, new product demonstrations, customer training (for automotive accounts as well as distributors and reps), and improving products by delivering feedback to design teams. It is therefore highly technical but involves a nice balance of customer interaction in both the direct and indirect channels.

The successful applicant will have:

- An applications or design background
- A good level of experience in the automotive sector OR with sensors in other verticals
- The willingness to travel
- Business fluent German and English

The commercial team has been highly successful during recent months, which is why this new position has emerged. This would be an excellent opportunity to either break in to the automotive market, or acquire experience relating to innovative and niche products.

Keywords: FAE, field applications engineer, sensors, automotive, senior, semiconductors, halbleiter, Munich, Muenchen, Germany
