Principal Modeller/ Water Engineer required due to increasing workload by a leading infrastructure consultancy that specialises in Civil & Structural Engineering. This exciting opportunity will allow the successful candidate to get involved in a variety of exciting projects, specifically within Water Engineering and hydraulic modelling.


The Principal Engineer/ Modeller will be expected to provide guidance and technical leadership to the team for Water Engineering projects. Working closely with the modelling Team Leader, the successful candidate will help to deliver the technical aspects of such as water and wastewater networks studies and asset management projects. This will include hydraulic modelling studies using software such as Infoworks. You will also be expected to help secure future project work and ensure effective project delivery for both internal and external clients.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have had experience delivering water networks projects in a time and cost effective manner. Additionally, a good knowledge of industry standard hydraulic modelling software such as Infoworks CS or SynerGEE. You will be expected to both work with and lead a team to deliver different sizes of projects with varying complexities.

My client is a leading global engineering consultancy, they currently have a opportunity for a Senior Process Engineer to join the Mechanical, Electrical and Process Engineering (MEP) team. The role itself will operate across the water, wastewater, water-related environmental and industrial sectors. Responsibilities will include client liaison, outline & detailed process design work, and feasibility. You will be working with and developing process tools such as mass balances and process flow diagrams – further, you will be proficient in the development of design solutions for clean and wastewater applications.

To be considered for the role you will be a degree-qualified chartered engineer or equivalent. You will have demonstrable experience within the water engineering sector with experience in both wastewater and water. Moreover, you will have a proven understanding of the design process and ability to demonstrate working knowledge of brief & scope documents, design concepts as well as some experience technically.
