Legal Collections Manager Responsibilities:
* Responsibilities will include managing the performance of the team, systems and product development
* Manage day to day operation of the legal collections team to deliver profitable collections in line with client and business targets
* Responsible for the recruitment and training of team
* To maximise collections results and client service whilst improving profitability
* To ensure that all strategies and processes are delivered in accordance with all client SLA’s
* To manage the litigation action and make decisions on account selection process
* Develop the systems and processes to deliver an efficient service
* To build, develop, motivate, manage and maximise the performance of the Legal Collections team to exceed revenue and profitability targets
* To ensure litigation disbursements and fees recovered with minimal write offs
* Provide support and guidance to staff as necessary
* Perform regular file reviews to ensure the quality of the work is of a high standard and in line with SLA’s and internal quality standards
* Manage and monitor the effective performance of the team to set KPI’s through call monitoring and feedback sessions
* Liaise with clients by telephone, correspondence and in person as necessary
* Manage and monitor the effectiveness of the strategies, prioritising the workloads to deliver performance in line with the plan
* Liaise with the Compliance Manager on all areas of compliance and ensure that all procedures are up to date
* To participate in the marketing of the business as required, for example, assisting with seminars, supporting events, building and maintaining client relationships
* Maintain day to day relationships with suppliers, clients and other key stakeholders
* Deliver accurate Management Information to clients, suppliers and other key stakeholders in accordance with SLA’s
* Attend and participate in internal team meetings and supervisory meetings as require
Legal Collections Manager Skills:
* Performance an operational management experience ideally within a high volume collections dept.
* Ability to work towards targets and under strict timescales
* Setting challenging but achievable targets for the team
* Ensure organisational goals are met and long term performance is developed through coaching, supporting and developing the team
* Experience of legal debt recovery processes in a consumer and/or commercial debt sector
* Knowledge of CPR
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Background is from a Lender, DCA, Debt Purchaser or Credit Control environment
* Analytical capability to understand and interpret data
* Results oriented approach
* Experience of the development and implementation of systems and processes

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the role of Regional Marketing Co-ordinator will be to market and promote the activities of Dental Protection, with a particular emphasis on recruiting and retaining undergraduate and recent graduate members from dental schools and other establishments.
The key responsibilities of the Regional Marketing Co-ordinator will include:
• Public relations – organising events, giving presentations to groups of students and developing a strong relationship with students, dental professionals and other key stakeholders
• Recruitment and membership – you will be required to recruit members in defined target groups, mailings and email campaigns.
• Marketing and promotion – contributing to the development of marketing plans, reporting on individual markets including membership statistics and ensuring that the strength and clarity of the corporate brand identity is maintained.

Great opportunity for a committed Legal Executive with significant Residential Conveyancing experience to provide a high-standard Residential Conveyancing service to both direct and broker/introducer markets. We are looking for a team player who has the ability to calmly juggle a demanding workload, tasks & projects, whilst taking pride in high quality work which is often processing large amounts of information, quickly and accurately.
Key Accountabilities
• Handle the allocated caseload of sales and new build purchase with some remortgage matters.
• Checking new build site paperwork, raising appropriate enquiries and preparing model site reports.
• Supporting paralegals/office administrators in the day to day running of their files including handling and dealing with technical queries raised by clients.
• Issuing terms of engagement and estimates of fees and disbursements; obtaining or checking Land Registry documents or title deeds (if the land is unregistered).
• Drafting or checking sales contracts and agreeing terms with the lawyer acting for the other party to the transaction.
• Collating and sending or checking supporting documents, exchanging contracts and completing the transaction; together with dealing with all financial aspects of a transaction.
• Specific tasks for sales transactions include preparing the seller’s property information form, repayment of charges and paying the estate agent's fee.
• Specific tasks for purchase transactions include carrying out and checking pre-contract searches
• Receiving and checking mortgage instructions from lenders and undertaking specific tasks required, preparing transfer and mortgage deeds, receiving mortgage funds, paying Stamp Duty and Land Tax and dealing with the registration of client and lender with the Land Registry.

ROLE:
This is an exciting new role for a shared property lawyer to provide legal services to South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse District Councils and their service areas; particularly property related work. The post holder will implement the first Voluntary registration project for the Vale council’s property portfolio. In addition, they will assist the senior contracts and property lawyer and external solicitors with major procurements, complex property transactions, town centre redevelopment and other regeneration projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) Handle all associated non-contentious work arising out of the councils’ property portfolios including leases, licences, deeds, notices and registration of land
b) Advise on all property related matters including compulsory purchase orders
c) Draft and approve other agreements including nomination agreements, contracts, section 106 agreements/obligations and agreements under related legislation
d) Contribute to new systems and initiatives in legal services
For grade 7, in addition to the above the post holder will;
a) Advise on contracts and procurement legislation, procedures and documents, including EU procurement regulations and the councils’ procedure rules
b) Handle affordable housing development work, including funding and nomination agreements
ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
a) Admitted as a Chartered Legal Executive or equivalent qualification or experience
b) Previous experience of relevant legal work
c) Thorough and up to date knowledge of property and landlord and tenant law and practice
d) Keen to be part of a shared service and to contribute to new ways of working and new initiatives
