This job is a lot of fun, and a chance to gain a sense of responsibility through childcare. We offer a fixed term contract with minimum wage pay (8h/day)*, and adequate insurance. All of our French camp counsellors are fluent in English, so you will not be isolated from the rest of the team. Main duties/responsibilities On a typical day, each camp counsellor will manage two fun and interactive themed workshops in the morning. In the afternoon, the camp counsellors will organize a variety of entertaining activities such as games and excursions.  List of duties: -  Supervise children’s daily routine (wake-up, meals, showers, tidying up, bed-time, etc.) -  Organize and manage entertaining workshops in a supportive fashion so that the kids feel confident when participating and speaking -  Organize afternoon group activities (team games, visits, sport, etc.) -  Take part in the evening social sessions with the children Candidates will be required to work 8 hours a day, 6 days a week. We offer short-term contracts (but you can sign as many as you’d like) with minimum wage pay and adequate insurance cover. Food and accommodation is provided on camp. About The Role
Providing professional Instruction to all levels whilst ensuring a safe sailing environment. All employees work as a team to offer a high level of customer service at all times.
 
Your main duties will centre around the yachts, the base and ports of call. Working hours vary and you must be flexible to cover operational requirements.
In this fulfilling and exciting role you will be required to be responsible for and undertake the following duties:
Deliver RYA courses to the highest standard complying with the RYA regulations
Deliver Company specific courses as per standards, polices and procedures
Liaise with Chief Yacht master Instructor any maintenance requirements or damage
Be responsible for the over all cleaning and set up of the yachts
Ensure correct paperwork is completed as per local laws and regulations
Run effective rescue boat cover
Running of weekly Yacht Races and mini-flotillas
When on duty maintain a lookout over the whole sailing area
Provide excellent customer service at all time
Carry out transfer day duties, such as representing the company at the airport
Carry out other duties within your ability as requested by your line manager
You will be required to be flexible in your job role and may be required to move between different resorts or departments according to operational needs.

About the role
- To assist in providing all meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner and bar snacks)

Main Duties


Care, maintenance and cleaning of pool, and surrounding areas.
Care, maintenance and cleaning of all other sports equipment.
Lifeguarding (if qualified) whilst the pool is in use, to ensure the safety of all clients. · Ensure safety notices are displayed and adhered to.
Organising, implementing and supervision of sports tournaments and outdoor activities
Organising and implementing an indoor entertainment programme to include quiz evening, disco and Karaoke with your fellow sports and activities rep/GA’s. · To assist with housekeeping duties if required.
To assist with Bar duties if required · To plan for current and future development of the grounds with regard to sporting activities.
Play an active role in the maintenance of the Tennis court, Full size Grade A Football/Rugby pitch, Activities area, Archery and help referee of coach sessions.

What You'll Be Doing


To assist in the profitable day-to-day running of the hotel, ensuring company standards are adhered to. Deputising in the absence of the manager.
Manage smooth operation of restaurant service with an upfront approach.

Organisation of the excursion programme ensuring all trips are coordinated effectively with local suppliers.

Multi-Activity Day Camps - part of the Super Camps Group. Super Camps are running multi activity day camps for children aged 4 – 14 years. As the leading provider in this field, our fun packed camps are located in 80 schools nationwide each offering excellent facilities. If you would like an exciting challenge within a fun environment we may have the perfect opportunity for you! With the increasing numbers of 4 and 5 year olds attending our camps our Early Years programme is an integral part of Super Camps. Therefore we have a number of roles available working with our Early Years groups: Early Years Play Instructor and Early Years Manager The Early Years and Play Instructor will work alongside our Early Years Manager in being one of the points of contact for the under 8s on camp. They will lead a variety of arts and sports activities, and on occasion assist with duties that fall in line with the EYFS. Responsibilities of Early Years and Play Instructor - Adhere to processes and procedures whilst the children in your care continually have a positive experience - Plan and deliver a variety of activities with structure and enthusiasm whilst encouraging maximum participation and following Ofsted EYFS guidelines where appropriate - Manage the exchange of all relevant information regarding children in your care to either the Early Years Co-ordinator or Site Manager - Take an active part during the meet and greet at the start and end of the day, assisting the Early Years Co-ordinator in giving feedback to parents/guardians on observations   - Deliver a structured and enjoyable activity period during drop off and pick up time - Additional duties will include registering crews, cleaning and kit maintenance   Requirements of Early Years and Play Instructor: Ideally educated to a minimum of Level 2 in Early Years or studying towards degree level in a relevant subject with experience, skills and attributes as follows: - Previous experience teaching/coaching children under the age of 8 in Sports, Play and Art and Crafts - Enthusiastic and organised with excellent communication skills   - Caring, energetic and outgoing with good use of initiative - Flexible, team player willing to take on various tasks as required The role of the Early Years Manager is to deliver the EYFS on our Multi Activity programme. Working alongside the Site Manager you will be the primary contact for parents and the younger children during their time at Super Camps. Responsibilities of Early Years Manager: In addition to the responsibilities of an Early Years Play Instructor, Early Years Managers acting as the key person for all Early Years activity on camp will also be responsible for: - Setting up a Base Room/Area that is suitable and inviting to hold your sessions throughout the weeks - Creating a timetable with the planners provided and your own initiative, alongside the Site Manager - Manage the Early Years sign in/sign out area, giving feedback to parents/guardians on observations made from the day Requirements of Early Years Manager: In addition to the requirements of an Early Years Play Instructor, Early Years Managers must be educated to degree level or at a minimum Level 3 in Early Years with previous experience ideally within a supervisory role Due to Super Camps being on the Early Years Register successful Early Years Manager applicants will be required to perform certain checks to ensure they are suitable to work with this age group on camp. Early Years Managers will need to: - Provide details of 2 professional references who have known the candidate for a minimum of 12 months - Answer Suitable Person Questions to be emailed to the candidate testing knowledge of safe practices and procedures - Sign a Health Declaration form to confirm they are in good health to work with children - Obtain a Super Camps CRB at no cost to the candidate You will be guided and supported by Head Office through this procedure. Selection and Appointment Process: If your online application form is short listed you will be contacted by the Super Camps HR team who will speak to you further about your experiences. If selected, you will be required to complete an online test based on our online training programme. Following this you will be required to attend an unpaid Central Training and Assessment Day based at various locations. Finally before you start work you will need to attend a paid Site Specific Training and Set Up Day located at school at which you will be working. Pay: £251.15 - £311.85 per week for Early Years Play Instructors £300 - £350 per week for Early Years Managers Pay scale dependant on qualifications and experience. Hours: 8am – 5.30pm (Monday – Friday) with a half hour unpaid lunch break Temporary Contract: School holidays. Part seasons considered On appointment all staff will be expected to complete a CRB disclosure and supply us with references In Addition… All sites require a Paediatric First Aid trained person to act as the Key First Aider on camp. The qualified individual appointed to take on this responsibility on top of one of our Instructor roles will be paid an additional £25 per week. If you hold a 12hr Paediatric First Aid qualification please express this on your application form and verify the expiry date. Description
More than 250,000 young guests enjoy a PGL trip each year, and we must ensure that we keep each guest safe and sound when they are tucked in for the evening.

The role includes a variety of functional tasks as well as being the first point of contact for visitors to the centre in the evening. You will be ensuring the security of the centre and well-being of the guests during night with regular checks and patrols as directed to you by the Duty Manager. Furthermore you’ll be able to use your handy skills to perform some site work.

The job entails some site presentation duties as well as occasional guest care responsibilities and the task to deal with any issues that the guests might encounter. Solving guests' problems can be very rewarding.

Additionally you may have the chance to try your centre's activities during your free time, building up your personal competency in the process. You may also participate in evening entertainments for our guests.
Requirements
No experience necessary - full training provided.

We're looking for people who are enthusiastic, enjoy working as part of a fast-paced team and who are willing to learn. Suitable candidates will be confident with great communication and diplomacy skills.

A major Marine Conservation Charity is looking for an additional member of their team to assist them in gaining new supporters for their cause.

The role is to recruit new supporters at events, trade shows, private sites and locations such as beaches and conservation areas. This ia a one year contract as a test campaign to assess the possibility of rolling the campaign out UK wide on a permanent basis.

You must have the ability to relay information confidently and accurately to members of the public and have the persuasive skills to encourage people to give long term donations.

This is a start up role and the ability to identify premium fundraising locations would be needed in the early stages as well as the ability to analyse various test sites that have been identified. The organisation is located in Ross On Wye but the position will be primarily based from anyhere in the South West to enable them to get to the fundraising locations effectively, this would mean being based from home and possibly going to the head office once a week.

This is a full time post, however there may be be the availibiity of part time hours for exceptional candidates. There will be some weekend work involved in this role and a it is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves to manage their workload autonomously.

The successful applicant will be extremely organised and have experience in working to acheivable targets.
