An exciting opportunity has arisen for Complaints (DISP) Review Consultants to join a well-known and respected financial institution based in Canary Wharf, London to conduct a review and establish whether more complex (DISP) complaints relating to Investment business are being handled in accordance with FCA rules and Principles and information is being gathered to avoid recurrences of previous weaknesses.
As a Complaints (DISP) Review Consultant your duties will include:
• Making sure Customer complaints are being handled, investigated and concluded in a timely manner.
• The outcomes of complaints escalated to the FOS have been analysed to drive improvements.
• Complaints are handled in accordance with FCA DISP rules.
• Complaint handling and QA procedures.
• Dealing with a sample of complaints.
• Reviewing the effectiveness of root cause analysis.
An ideal Complaints (DISP) Review Consultant will hold the following skills and experiences:
• Proven track of delivery in similar role dealing with complex complaints
• Knowledge of QA/QC standards - would be an advantage.
• RCA understanding.
• Detailed knowledge of the rules relating to the handling of business Investment complaints.
• Ability to stay objective and remain calm while handling difficult complaints with diplomacy.
• Demonstrable negotiation and influencing skills.
• A pragmatic, flexible approach to work both independently and as part of a team to organise work to meet prescribed service timetables.
• A high standard of written and telephone communication skills.
• Proven IT skills, particularly with Excel and Word.
• Have a proven track record of complex complaint handling experience, supported by knowledge of the FSA & FOS regulatory guidelines and possess strong customer service, negotiation and resolution skills.
You will be working 37.5 hours per week.
