Our client is looking for an experienced Store Cleaning Manager whose job it will be to achieve consistently the hygiene standards laid down within company targets and objectives, by leading and coaching the cleaning team to deliver the results expected within a large supermarket store.
This role is for a Retail Supermarket Store in Boston, Lincolnshire.
The role is for a 6 month contract to cover long term sick, there is potential it could turn permanent but there is no guarantee of this.

Job Title: Service Engineer

The successful candidate will be responsible for installation, service and repair of gas sensors that require attention at the customer site or that have been returned to the company.

This role requires an individual, who has a professional attitude, is willing to travel and has a manufacturing or technical background - good problem solving skills are essential. Excellent communication skills are required to generate site visit reports, record customer feedback, and make recommendations of improvements that can be made to our products.

Duties and responsibilities: -

• Installation, service and repair for a range of product lines, including new development products.
• Trouble-shooting and root cause analysis of failure modes
• Liaise with customers to agree installation dates and travel plans, and whilst on site, maintaining professional and positive approach.
• Work as part of the service team.

Key responsibilities within the service team include:

• Assessment of products to identify potential improvement points.
• Prototyping and test of product improvements
• Validation of design changes to existing products.
• Generate service reports and document customer requirements and feedback.
• Provide feedback to teams within the company on all aspects of the sensor design.

Required skills: -

• Technical – a strong technical or manufacturing background is required and training will be provided to develop laser alignment and calibration skills.

• Component test of lasers and detectors
• Burn in and lifetime test of components and gas sensors, continuously monitoring performance
• Use of a FTIR to characterise lasers

• Feedback to design teams on all aspects of products, including performance, software interfaces and mechanical design to aid continuous improvement
