This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to further their career in film and creative visual media. You will be based within the Support Development team at the clients headquarters in the seaside town of Worthing.
Main Duties
· Video: monthly programmes focussing on one element of the organizations work or a project
· Video: periodic short video updates (e.g. focussed on unpacking a particular aspect of their work such as community radio)
· Video: annual (at least) longer programme with broader content illustrating and involving collaboration with external studio production house
· Media library: maintaining the content and promoting correct use throughout the organization and also managing Stock Library images
· Social media: assisting with web and social media presence
· Creation of Power Point presentations for special events
Key Skills and Experience
· Qualification in media, with specialism in film / video
· Understanding of copyright as it applies to video, images and audio
· Creating original film using footage and graphical content
· Filming and producing original video content as well as editing material from others
· Creating graphics for use in film to
· Communicate a point
· Adding media content to websites
· Working with blogs, Facebook and other social media
· Use of Vimeo and other social video sites
· Excellent command of desktop video editing
· Excellent creative skills in order to make captivating media content

Main Duties
· Management of capital investment projects.
· Specification, development and application of safe working systems and procedures for projects (CDM).
· Budget control.
· Maximisation of the Plant’s safety and environmental performance through project design.
· Supervision of electrical/mechanical resources (in-house & contractors).
· Provide technical support for the Plant for equipment (design, specification and operation) and process improvement.
· Ensures the appropriate documentation is available on the design, operation and maintenance of new equipment.
· The ideal candidate will be required to provide project-engineering services to the plant site including the manufacturing and maintenance organisations.
Ensure that all projects are implemented in compliance with all appropriate legal and statutory codes of practice (Construction, Design & Management [CDM], Planning Permission, Pressure Systems Regulations, Electricity at Work etc)
Provide technical support to the manufacturing in the area of energy and environmental compliance.
Provide day-to-day trouble-shooting support to manufacturing and maintenance in relation to technical situations

Develop systems and programs for improving the trouble-shooting skills of others
·
Generate recommendations, cost estimates and justifications for plant capital budget
·
Initiate, lead and implement process improvement efforts and projects, lead teams in analysing problems and developing best solutions
·
Specify equipment; obtain bids, purchase equipment and services, co-ordinate design and construction, to ensure a safe and effective start-up
·
Implement projects at the lowest possible cost, in the minimum amount of time, with maximum benefits to the plant
·
Continually monitor and control the project budget to eliminate overspends
·
Share mechanical knowledge and technology with maintenance personnel and develop training programs for the mechanical personnel, as specific needs are identified
·
Recommend design/material changes to equipment so that processes are more reliable and perform to a high level
·
Understand, communicate and demonstrate safe work practices. Develop and install safe mechanical and electrical systems. Apply ergonomics principles to equipment design
·
Identify and communicate key maintenance issues of newly installed equipment to ensure long-term effectiveness (spares, checks, lubrication, etc)
·
Register and store all project documentation relating to the operation, design or maintenance of equipment in a readily retrievable manner
Key Skills and Qualifications
· Ideally you will educated to a degree level or the equivalent, It would be advantageous to have metal forming / sheet metal / paint plant experience although not essential,

Our client is looking to recruit a Gas Maintenance Engineer based in Watford, Herefordshire.
The Gas Maintenance Engineer will take lead responsibility for all aspects of boilers, plumbing and gas safety across all operational sites across Hertfordshire. Full driving licence and own vehicle essential.
The post is located within the Maintenance Department based at the Watford Centre; the post holder will be required to work at any of the Charity’s operational sites across Hertfordshire. Participation in an out of hour’s emergency ‘call-out’ rota will also be required.
Your Main Duties will include:
• Delegated lead responsibility for all aspects of boilers, plumbing and gas safety across all sites.

• Provide a quality maintenance service including general plumbing and associated works, general property maintenance, planned maintenance to plant and equipment, safety checks etc.
• Provide accurate and timely work reports to line manager.
• Work within current health and legislation

The successful applicant will have the following skills & experience:
• Minimum CCN1 gas safe qualification and registration
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
• Knowledge of regulations, health and safety and legal requirements pertaining to gas, plumbing etc.
• Proven experience in property maintenance
• Evidence of other general maintenance skills eg carpentry, plumbing, electrical etc.
• Customer focused, able to ensure they receive an excellent service
• Able to plan and manage resources
• Able to work effectively with others open and collaboratively
• Able to participate in the ‘call-out’ rota covering out of hours emergency

The Company:

You will be a highly experienced toolmaker with a time served apprenticeship specialising in the modification and maintenance of press tooling.
The core function of the role is to take full operational responsibility for the company tooling/maintenance spares store and tooling control system.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for monitoring the status of the tooling on return to the stores and undertake any requirements for repair or refurbishment.
