Position Description
Lead PT Engineering Resource estimation actions / process for multiple Powertrain development programs
Segmentation responsibility split by Carline applications
Primary focus: major gateway controlled programs using the resource estimating models

This role will involve working with a wide (global) group of functional estimating Subject Matter Experts as well as counterparts in the PT Planning / PTIM program management functions.
Presentations and meeting support up to LL2 level on a regular basis
Additionally support and management information will be required for local business groups, global counterparts in FNA/FSAO and FAPA and to support ad hoc senior management reviews.
This is a key role for the aligned estimating of new programs, and tracking of existing programs through the GPDS process.
Local structure is within a team with 3 other GSRs, managed through an LL6/LL5/LL3 organisation.
Reporting / working relationships will often be direct with LL5+ stakeholders and well as LL6 / GSR counterparts.

Candidate should be organised, self motivated, confident, able to provide leadership to interfacing activities and present data professionally to a senior level.
In addition a thorough knowledge of whole vehicle engineering and integration process would be a significant advantage.
Sound "first principles" engineering knowledge. Computer literacy.
Skills Preferred
Knowledge of PD processes, especially AIMs and Teamcentre and Digibuck
Experience Required
The ideal candidate will have Vehicle Integration experience, including attribute target setting and delivery, and/or virtual vehicle development.
Experience of managing a vehicle test fleet and the testing process would also be an advantage
Experience Preferred
Vehicle Integration experience, including attribute target setting and delivery, and/or virtual vehicle development.
Would also be will to consider candidates who possess the right personal attributes and work in allied skills areas, for example highly driven Programme Managers or candidates involved in building and running large fleets of vehicles
Education Required
Engineering Degree or equivalent.
Would consider other for the correct personal skill set

Travel may be required between sites
Clean driving licence preferred
