Digital Marketing Executive – B2C
The City - Salary £25k to £33k
An exceptional opportunity to be a part of a marketing team working for a hugely successful and fast growing B2C business. You’ll be a CRM marketer with particularly strong email marketing skills as well as a combination of online and direct marketing (B2C) experience in all aspects of the marketing mix.
The Role
Reporting to the Marketing Manager and working closely with the wider marketing team you will be responsible for implementing and driving the development and delivery of online email marketing campaigns to maintain our client’s strong brand and pre-eminent position.
This is a hands on role and you’ll be expected to take ownership of every stage of a wide range of marketing campaigns and projects from copywriting, testing, data selection and campaign deployment through to analysis of performance. You will communicate plans and results back to the business teams. You’ll write copy for a variety of email campaigns and monitor and analyse campaign performance for both scheduled and ad hoc campaigns.
The Person
Significant hands-on experience of managing email campaigns, and working with broadcast email is essential with at least 3 years’ experience in online/direct marketing in a B2C environment. It would be desireable if you had experience in a number of areas which would include digital advertising, above the line, direct response and CRM and this will have been with a consumer brand; ideally online.
If you are a graduate or equivalent with a marketing/business related degree and/or CIM qualification this will be an advantage, although not essential. You will combine creativity with outstanding communication skills and competence with all MS Office applications. Ideally, you will also be familiar with email deployment software such Maxemail or Smartfocus. The successful candidate will be someone with plenty of initiative who works well under pressure and can hit tight deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to fit into a close-knit team of other professionals are also important attributes.

Key Responsibilities
•Hearing business cases from managers wanting to hire and approving or declining on the basis of budget and project requirements

•Hiring permanent as opposed to contractors where possible to reduce costs

•Maintain accurate and up-to-date skills matrix.
•Own all relationships with outsource resource suppliers (e.g. of software developers) to ensure scalability of supply & quality of suppliers is in line with current and forecast business demand.
•Provide responsive, proactive support to department/discipline managers in CTS departments in order to proactively and productively plan & confirm resource allocation and utilisation for pre-sales activity (focusing on our "proposal to supply" products & services to a client/project), delivery (focusing on allocating resources in line with the signed proposal to supply products or system deployment) & live service (focusing on allocating resources to meet client SLAs).
•Proactive, regular & personal communication with all employees at all levels with objective of maintaining wellbeing and commitment of staff.
•Foster a close & fruitful working relationship with other Collinson Group companies to provide a positive & transparent transition and on-going co-existence for CTS.
•Keep the communication channel between outsourced suppliers and off shore resources in regard to resource issues.
•Front-line HR point of contact for all CTS resources, escalating appropriately any HR issues and collaborating as necessary with the Collinson Group's HR organisation
•For all CTS resources maintain accurate & up-to-date registers of vacation, sickness, work from home, and hold joint responsibility with line managers and project managers to assess vacation requests to ensure no disruption to current & forecast business tasks.
