Manager is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join a global team of 8 within Network Infrastructure Services based in Reading. This position is required to provide physical geographic network engineering presence at the HQ in TVP (Reading), UK for regional network design, implementation, and support activities. The vendor’s main focus will be the design & implementation of data networking and will concentrate mainly, but not exclusively, on upgrading a number of IEB (Interactive & Entertainment Business) division offices across the UK.

The candidate will work with the latest hardware and should be comfortable directing people remotely whose first language may not necessarily be English.
The 4 key skills that the candidate should have include:
• Strong communication skills
• Be comfortable dealing with ambiguity
• Strong knowledge of CCIE
• Good interpersonal awareness
The candidate will need to have a positive attitude as well as a keen ability to work with others. They must also be able and willing to, on occasion, lift equipment when necessary (odd one but it is a requirement that often gets overlooked!).

The role is paying £280 a day
It is a 6 month contract with a chance of it rolling on for another 3 months.
