A global, FTSE-listed organisation is currently seeking a PMO professional on an interim basis. Reporting to the General Manager for Strategy and Transformation will be responsible for developing, improving and operating a PMO framework to monitor and report on the progress on the establishment of an EMEA shared service centre. Whilst the PMO will not have direct budget responsibility, the successful candidate will be responsible for tracking and monitoring performance planning, project budgets, forecasts and actual costs versus plans and the business case. The PMO will liaise with Programme team members to facilitate the coordination of the programme and identify risks, issues, opportunities and solutions. He or she will take responsibility for risk management, resource planning and forecasting, governance and compliance and performance management. The successful candidate will liaise on a regular basis with the Head of Shared Services, Regional General Managers and the Global Transition lead. They will be tasked with binding the process together and will standardise the processes for all European countries whilst reducing costs by at least 30%. Candidates must have a sound understanding of the shared service centre environment and have prior experience in the migration of shared services in a listed and/or blue chip environment. Candidates must hold a Project Manager qualification and significant transformation and shared services experience. Candidates will, ideally, have working knowledge of SAP and, importantly, the French language. Interested candidates who meet the above criteria should apply as soon as possible.
