Position: Reconciliations Administrator
Location: Tunbridge Wells
Salary: up to £23,000 per annum

ROLE:
An interesting new opportunity has arisen at AJ Bell for a Reconciliations Administrator, based in their office in Tunbridge Wells. Reporting into the Stock Reconciliations Team Leader you will be working in a small team responsible for processing for all aspects of the reconciliation of client stock positions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate processing to include reconciling nominee stock balances across multiple custodians and markets, reconciling internal stock positions, producing aged reconciliation break reports and producing daily short sales reports to highlight discrepancies in traded positions.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
a) Ideally you will have stock reconciliation experience gained within the Financial Services Industry. If not, you may have general reconciliation experience or experience gained in a back office environment.
b) Good with IT software such as MS Office, in particular Excel.
c) A team player with a positive approach and a logical mindset.
d) An effective communicator, both written and verbal with excellent customer service skills.
e) An organised individual with excellent time management skills.
f) Someone who can work to deadlines, at times unsupervised.
g) Conscientious with a methodical approach to work and good attention to detail.

DESIRABLE SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
a) CISI IOC (either gained or studying towards full certificate).
b) Knowledge of reconciliation techniques and FSA CASS rules.
