My client a leading international engineering and construction group now have an opportunity for a Civil Engineer to work within the Engineering Operating Unit for the Petrochem division. You will be accountable to Civil Structural Discipline Manager and will be responsible for ensuring delivery of engineering design deliverables to safety, quality, cost and time parameters including the management of discipline engineers and interdisciplinary coordination. Key Responsibilities To provide support on the project to which assigned. Preparation of the Engineering Job Design Specification and all necessary Material and Workmanship Specifications. Preparation and update of the detailed Engineering programme of work to meet the requirements of the overall project programme. Preparation and update of all project control and reporting documentation for the Engineering work content. Preparation of engineering calculations, including the use of computer based design packages. Take technical responsibility for the Engineering design and drafting carried out by his project team. Maintain interface with the CAD development group to maximise effectiveness of CAD work on the project. Administer and take responsibility for all aspects of his team's performance including discipline, reporting, adherence to programme and budget. In conjunction with the Engineering Coordination team appointed to the project, ensure that the Civil/Structural Engineering team's work is adequately coordinated with all other Engineering disciplines and Company Departments. Ensure that all necessary QA functions are carried out for the project engineering work, in accordance with Corporate and Project Procedures. This includes preparation, checking and approval of calculations, specifications, drawings and other documents Inform the Principal Civil/Structural Engineer of all current staff requirements for the team. Discharge his responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. Prepare responses to Safety Audit Questionnaires and attending Safety Audit Meetings as requested. To read, understand and implement the Company Safety Policy and the arrangements described in the Company and area Safety Management System documents. Skills: Substantial period of experience in the designated position and Oil and Gas/Petrochem experience Capable of administering and leading design/drafting Qualifications: Essential Qualifications A chartered Civil or Structural Engineer BSc/BEng (or equivalent)

My client a leading engineering and construction company are looking to expand their team in Stockton and require a Senior or Principal Process Engineer. The role comprises of the following: Ensures engineering & design is delivered in a safe, cost effective and timely manner and in compliance with the companys quality management system. Responsible for ensuring quality of, and approving, process design deliverables Act as deputy for the clients process function. Maintains and improves the clients process engineering standards Ensure Safety, Health & Environmental protection are inherent in the process engineering design Understand and incorporate the key requirements of the Basis of Safety into the process engineering design Ensure process specifications are consistent with current standards/directives and local developments Ensure essential company, (internal & customer) and statutory design standards are effectively and consistently applied to all process design. Manage the development and delivery of the required process engineering documentation to meet the agreed project programme Manage the development of process engineering estimates and programmes.
