A highly specialist, global organisation are now opening up a new office in Bristol. With a strong presence across the world, they are now concentrating on the UK and EU markets. This has created a new, exciting position for a Project / Management Accountant to join their small team.

Reporting to the MD, as the Project Accountant, you will be working closely with the business and monitoring numerous projects at any one time. Your responsibilities will include:

-Monthly management accounts for submission to the Group Accountant
-Managing the finances/invoices of multiple projects
-Challenging financial decisions and advising where necessary
-Cost control with PMs
-Working closely with the Tendering Co-ordinator
-Cash flow reporting
-Production of Profit and Loss
-Analysis of project financial performance

The successful candidate will have previous experience of Project Accounting, highly capable of Management Accounting and be able to work as part of a small social team. You will be either qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience. It is advantageous to have experience of dealing with foreign currencies and financial accounting.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with experience of working with senior colleagues and able to influence effectively.
• Experience of working to tight deadlines, ability to work well under pressure and to be able to prioritise a heavy workload.
• Able to understand new situations and information quickly, and interpret, challenge appropriately.
