Overview
Our client is a leading manufacturer of test equipment and instrumentation, sold via distributors internationally as well as directly to its UK customers. All equipment supplied by the company requires service and calibration, which is carried out either in house or using their mobile service laboratory. A vacancy has arisen for a field service engineer to carry out on-site service across the UK and Ireland.

Responsibilities
Planned and routine calibration and maintenance of instrumentation including airflow, temperature, pressure and humidity test equipment.
Liaise with customers to define their requirements.
Extensive travel throughout the UK and occasionally overseas.

Requirements
Previous experience in field service.
Minimum HNC or equivalent in measurement technology.
Strong electronics skills, able to read circuit diagrams and fault find down to component level.
Excellent communication skills, self-motivated and prepared to work alone and organise their own work schedule.
Clean driving license and valid passport.
