My client a leading service provider are recruiting for an experienced Finance Supervisor on a 12 month contract.
Key Duties include:
* Supervision of finance processing team (currently 3 finance assistants)
including team development & training
* Supervision and control of sales and purchase ledgers
* Reconciliation of control accounts
* Cash flow management including Credit Control responsibility
* Preparation of month end journals (accruals, prepayments, depreciation,
accrued income & deferred income) for various contracts
* Assist Financial Controller in the preparation of monthly management
accounts
* Build close relationships between the finance and non-finance departments
across the business
* Other adhoc financial and administration duties

The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

* Preferably part qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA)
* Experience in the supervision of an accounts transactional team
* Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with both financial and
non-financial members of the company
* Hands on, sleeves rolled up approach with a good sense of humour

Salary: £25,000 per annum
