Our client is looking to recruit a Production Planner based in Telford.The purpose of this role is to ensure production plans are prepared, maintained and communicated to all parties to ensure on time delivery for customer orders.


Through analysis of production specifications and plant capacity data, you will help to determine manufacturing processes, tools and people requirements
Building relationships with internal departments at all levels, you will provide a key link between production and planning, establishing order statuses and providing reports on production plans, efficiencies and issues to management. You will help to drive efficiency, minimising factory waste and ensuring sufficient capacity.

Your duties will include;
• Preparation of production plans
• Expedite materials and operations according to schedule
• Alter production schedule where necessary
• Prepare PO’s to obtain materials and raise internal orders
• Reporting on production plans, efficiencies and issues
• Analyse production specifications and plant capacity data
• Create and implement planning process improvements


The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of supply chain principles and experience in an FMCG environment. Flexible, adaptable and assertive you will be comfortable working under pressure in an often rapidly changing environment. Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be required to communicate with people across the business and build effective relationships. A logical thinker with strong numerical, analytical and evaluation skills, you will be able to consider the impact new developments will have on the production plan in both the immediate and long term.

As a Senior Residential Care Worker (also known as Senior Care Practitioner) you will be responsible to the Home Manager and will be part of the Team accountable for the day to day direct care of the children to include managing the budget, resources and the fabric building and the recovery of the children acting as a day leader.
