My client, a highly successful distribution company is seeking a Management Accountant to strengthen their Finance team as a result of on going expansion.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the main purpose of the role is to take responsibility for the production of monthly management accounts to strict deadlines together with detailed sales analysis. You will also be involved in the preparation of budgets and forecasts and have the opportunity to assist various systems improvements and ad hoc commercial projects.

Ideally, you will be qualified or approaching qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA). You must have however, at least 2 years experience within an accounts function, preferably with previous exposure to management accounting. We are currently working on behalf of a growing business who operate on an international basis. Due to company expansion the business is looking to recruit an additional head into the Finance department. Other duties will include assisting in the maintenance of standard costing system, assisting with audits, monitoring KPIs and mentoring the Assistant Accountant.
