We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well established, reputable Sheffield based organisation.
The purpose of the role is to assist the Sales Ledger Supervisor in the day to day operations of the Sales Ledger department and ensuring that transactions are processed in an efficient and timely manner.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting the Sales Ledger Supervisor in the day to day operations of the Sales Ledger department and ensure the service level agreement is adhered to.
Motivating and managing a team of up to 12 team members, in the Supervisors absence
Data entry of financial transactions
Assisting the Sales Ledger Supervisor with training of new staff and current staff on new procedures
Handling complex queries to a satisfactory conclusion
Undertaking administrative tasks
Performing any other duties commensurate with these responsibilities, the grade of the post and skill and qualifications of the post-holder

Job Purpose
Working on the front line of operations, the role of Negotiator / Collections Agent is to recover arrears on accounts, primarily through telephone negotiation. The primary objectives of the role are to:

Key activities include:

Work with Team Manager to effectively manage problem arrears cases and agree next steps
Update client accounts accurately and concisely
Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and internal policy and procedure requirements

Work in partnership with other departments in Bluestone to meet business objectives
Specific Skill or Knowledge required:
MS Office experience
