Profitable Sheffield-based business has a requirement for an Immediately Available Assistant Management Accountant. You will join on a temporary basis with a view to potential permanency. You will be a hands-on Assistant Management Accountant / Management Accountant with the capability to support the FC in production of timely and accurate management accounts. You will enjoy all aspects of the management accounting for a smaller to medium sized business, be AAT minimum and have strong IT skills.
You will ideally:
Be comfortable producing detailed and meaningful management accounts for a smaller to medium sized business.
Be able to start at short notice.
Be AAT or part qualified ACCA / CIMA
Have strong Excel skills
Be professional and confident communicating with non finance colleagues
Comfortable with the nitty gritty – supporting purchase and sales ledger, accruals and prepayments, all reconciliations etc

US owned business based in Sheffield have an opportunity for a bright, assertive and ambitious Assistant Management Accountant. You will be studying toward ACCA or CIMA and have the ability to assist with monthly management accounts preparation. You will have a solid foundation of accounting skills but be looking for a role which will allow you to further develop your technical accounting and commercial reporting skills. You must have advanced Excel skills and you must be capable of clearly communicating with colleagues. You will either be AAT or graduate (2.1 or above) and have at least 2 years experience in finance.
You will be
Progressing through ACCA or CIMA
Capable of producing management accounts
Capable of using advanced Excel functions pivots / lookups
Confident in your communication skills
