IT Systems Analyst : 3 months Contract : Aberdeen

Abrecco wish to recruit an IT Systems Analyst on behalf of our Aberdeen based Client. The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting a broad range of business critical systems and applications for various departments within the company (financial, engineering, HR etc.).To be considered for this opportunity you will require the following skills and experience:
Essential:
- Experience of Systems Support within a global organisation
- Experience of Software Application support
- Experience of supporting Windows Servers, SQL Server Databases, Cisco Networking etc.
- Excellent customer service skills
- First class communication skills (written and oral)
Desirable:
- A solid understanding of the Oil and Gas industry
- Any experience / understanding of software development will be highly beneficial

This is an excellent opportunity to join a Global organisation for an initial 3 months contract offering a competitive day rate plus the possibility of further extensions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the Line Management of projects to ensure projects or work packages are delivered safely to scope, schedule and cost, with acceptable quality and environmental performance while complying with regulatory requirements. * Supporting the preparation of project technical concepts, project strategies and implementation plans in conjunction with the Project Leader, ensuring all interfaces and stakeholder issues are addressed.. Supporting the preparation of scope specifications and estimating cost and schedule for taking projects from concept to close out. Within this to identify resource requirements and all key paperwork including as required to comply with statutory obligations; and to comply with Design, Financial, Commercial, EHS&Q, HR and Site Operational Processes operated by company and the client.. Supporting the delivery of the design, construction and commissioning of projects to scope, schedule and cost with acceptable quality, environment and safety performance.. Supporting the management of projects in line with the company processes including gating, monitoring, risk management, change control and reporting..
