Our client is a leading player in the Water Treatment Industry that provides chemical treatment programmes for treatment of boilers, cooling systems, waste water and process applications across a range of industries from light industrial to refinery, petrochemical, power and steel plants.

The company are now keen to recruit a Sales / Account Manager in Scotland that is responsible for maintaining and developing the client relationship and sales at assigned customer sites for both specialty water and process chemicals. Reporting to the Regional Manager you will be responsible for achieving order budgets through sales to new and existing accounts/clients. Working with current customer and prospect to meet desired sales and service needs. You will develop and execute territory and specific account sales plan to grow existing accounts and close new accounts.

You will have the ability to prioritise and work within stringent deadlines, effectively support multiple managers and teams and must have good project management and reporting skills.

You will have a Chemical Engineering / Chemistry degree or similar and will have some Account Management or sales experience in water/process treatment company or industrial plant.

Our client is a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy with offices throughout the UK. Due to continued growth and expansion of the company's geo-environmental consultancy business, there is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Geoenvironmental Consultant to join their Geoenvironmental team in Glasgow.

The successful candidate will be actively involved in the day to day project management of Geo-Environmental site investigations and other projects completed by the team, prepare the interpretative geo-environmental and geotechnical reports and be involved with client and regulatory liaison. You will work alongside their highly experienced team of geotechnical engineers, environmental scientists and geo-environmental specialists working on projects throughout Scotland and UK. You will be expected to undertake both office based and site based work where your level of experience is required for project delivery.

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 4 years relative experience and hold, or be working towards, a relevant chartership with a recognised professional body.
You will need to have experience in design, planning and delivery of contaminated land desk studies, site investigations, risk assessment (qualitative and quantitative) methodologies and remediation projects of various contaminated land scenarios. A good understanding of current UK environmental regulation is required, with experience of CLEA, P20 and RBCA is also required. Excellent computer and report writing skills are expected.

The role requires taking responsibility for conducting legionella risk assessments to ACOP L8 guidelines at commercial and industrial premises. Additional duties will include producing reports, drawing up schematics, visiting corporate accounts, building and maintaining relationships with clients at all levels.

Ideal candidates for this position will have a minimum of two years risk assessment experience and hold the City & Guilds Qualification. With excellent written communication skills, it is expected that candidates are computer literate, able to work in a team environment and use their own initiative.
