As part of our continued and impressive growth, we are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer for our offshore site services team at the Aberdeen site. The purpose of this position is to provide electrical and technical support for the offshore division, with duties to include, but not be restricted to:-

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Producing quotations for offshore work, liaising with customers, ordering materials, organising and supervising projects.
Scheduling new and ongoing offshore work as required.
Supervision of offshore workers.
Provision of electrical support for offshore workers
Provision of technical support specifically around condition monitoring
Development of project work
Development of working procedures in support of client requirements

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates will have served a recognised electrical apprenticeship
Full UK or Equivalent recognised Driving Licence

Ideally, you will be Certified to work on and have knowledge of equipment suitable for application in hazardous area locations ie.CompEx Certificate or equivalent

TECHNICAL SKILLS

You will be able to provide technical support with regards to offshore Condition Monitoring

Your interpersonal and communication skills will be of the highest calibre
Proven Project Management skills in a similar field
MS Office skills, including MS Project

Due to continued growth and expansion of the company's geo-environmental consultancy business, there is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Geoenvironmental Consultant to join their Geoenvironmental team in Glasgow.

The successful candidate will be actively involved in the day to day project management of Geo-Environmental site investigations and other projects completed by the team, prepare the interpretative geo-environmental and geotechnical reports and be involved with client and regulatory liaison. You will work alongside their highly experienced team of geotechnical engineers, environmental scientists and geo-environmental specialists working on projects throughout Scotland and UK. You will be expected to undertake both office based and site based work where your level of experience is required for project delivery.

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 4 years relative experience and hold, or be working towards, a relevant chartership with a recognised professional body.
You will need to have experience in design, planning and delivery of contaminated land desk studies, site investigations, risk assessment (qualitative and quantitative) methodologies and remediation projects of various contaminated land scenarios. A good understanding of current UK environmental regulation is required, with experience of CLEA, P20 and RBCA is also required. Excellent computer and report writing skills are expected.
