A school based in Twickenham, Middlesex are looking for a fully qualified and inspiring Maths Teacher to join their successful Maths department on a permanent basis. The successful Maths Teacher will have excellent subject knowledge and be able to teach up to KS3 & KS4 Maths confidently. Ability to teach up to KS5 Maths is desirable. Only very strong NQTs will be considered for this Maths role.

The Academy

The School is an 11-18 years Comprehensive school with roughly 1000 students on roll, 100 of whom are in the Sixth Form. They are continually oversubscribed, with the majority of applicants coming from families with a religious affiliation. In their 2013 OFSTED inspection the school achieved 'Good' on all measures.

The Ideal Maths Teacher

To be considered for this post you will be an enthusiastic Maths Teacher with excellent knowledge of the Maths curriculum at KS3 and KS4. You must have a desire to develop your teaching & be fully involved in helping the Maths department achieve good results & develop the overall Maths ability of all students. You will also be expected to have demonstrable experience in the following:

* Structured Lesson Planning
* Behavioural & Classroom Management
* Organisational Skills

Only very strong NQTs will be considered for this role.

The successful Maths Teacher will have:

* A recognised Teaching Qualification (PGCE, QTS, BEd. or equivalent)
* Ability to teach Maths at KS3 & KS4
* Ability to teach up to KS5 Maths is desirable
* Eligibility to work in the UK without restrictions.
