Job Purpose and Summary:
To work with sales and operations to project manage Canon Business Services customer propositions for development and deployment of business services outsourcing propositions.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
To project manage solutions for CBS focusing on the implementation of CBS service solutions.
The role will require this project manager work closely with customer project management teams to manage project deliverables, communications and budgets for customer propositions. Working with the operational and sales teams to formulate the proposition and to manage implementation of overall technical solution.
Liaise with client contacts where required.
As required the project manager will work closely with CBS Operations to assist in management activities around the change management process required, paying particular attention to workflows and process documentation completion. Scoping, solution development and implementation may require up to 6-12 month deployment on a single site.
Project documentation of technical and process implemented and in addition keeps reporting lines and operations fully updated on project and implementation progress.
Project management of implementation or process improvement projects to reduce time, costs or errors.
Work within the bounds of the company policies and governance models as defined by the Business Assurance Team. Will have internal inerfaces with CBS Services Innovations Manager, Operations General Manager, Document Services Manager, Canon Professional Services and external with Customer key stakeholders, Customer Project Management Team, Customer Key Production contacts, 3rd Party Technical Partners, External Equipment and Service Suppliers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Satisfactory attainment of Qualitative and Quantitive measures set out in annual performance evaluation.
* Completion of customer proposition deliverables on time and budget as defined in the proposition/project plan.
* Satisfactory progress to milestones defined in the customer proposition/project.
* Provision of monthly progress report against milestones to Services Innovation UK Manager
The successful candidate should demonstrate excellent spoken and written communication skills, with solid project management experience of customer engagement. Demonstrating experience of definition and implementation of complex project ideally within the printing industry. Experience in delivering customer facing complex technical business transformation projects. Working closely with CBS Operations the candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to work with multiple tasks, time pressures and confidently delegate tasks.
Proven project management experience in IT projects
* Project Management Qualification - minimum of Prince 2 Practitioner level.
* Awareness of business quality standards (including an understanding of at least one
methodology e.g. ISO 9000
Project Management experience and ability to be able to demonstrate at least 2 completed projects within technical environments.

Maximise & develop business opportunities within specified territory based on retention/development accounts through existing contracts and the realisation of up-selling opportunities in core & non-core solutions.
