Investigo are currently partnering with a FTSE50 business based near Reading who are seeking a technically strong Group Finance and Reporting Accountant to join their Group function at an entry level with excellent career progression opportunities.
Key responsibilities:
- Working closely with and supporting the Group Finance and Reporting Manager in the efficient and timely preparation of the group management accounts on a monthly basis
- Working closely with the Group Treasury and Group Tax team to validate monthly reporting
- Identifying and proposing improvements and efficiencies in existing processes
- Working closely with the Head of Financial Reporting and Operational Commerce teams on resolving IFRS accounting issues and judgements
- Involvement in ad hoc financial reporting & financial systems projects, such as implementing improvements in reporting and consolidation processes
Key candidate requirements:
- University degree holder
- ACA qualified accountant preferably Big 4 trained
- Good understanding of IFRS and FTSE reporting process
- Confident and self-motivated, outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Advanced Excel skills
