The prime focus of the role is the specification and design of the systems for ground based and naval VHF and UHF (100 to 512MHz) communications systems and services. • To establish Flag Fen as a major visitor attraction in the East of England

Educated to degree level and/or with an equivalent professional qualification, you’ll have significant experience in the heritage industry and of national and regional developments in heritage. It is essential that you have a proven track record in developing and managing successful visitor attractions. Ideally this will have involved large-scale events of 5000+ people and the creation and management of medium-sized teams. The ability to demonstrate your experience of managing and developing a high quality heritage programme is also required. Business planning, budgeting and handling press and PR will be essential skill areas, along with:

• Excellent organisation and all-round communication skills
• Experience of managing and developing high-quality heritage programmers
• Securing sponsorship from the private sector or equivalent partners
• Consultation with customers including hard-to-reach groups

You must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
