Position: New Business Development Manager
Location: London SW6
Salary: £30k-£35k + uncapped Sales Commissions (OTE £60k-£70k) per annum

We are expanding our team further and have created this exciting new role for a Business Development Manager who will work closely with the CEO, setting-up this new sales channel. You will be instrumental in shaping this role and new revenue stream. We are looking for an ambitious, forward-looking, proven sales professional with drive, strong commercial acumen and a passion for digital sales opportunities.
The New Business Development Manager will be forging commercial partnerships with other major online players so that our product range becomes exposed to a much wider audience through those third party sites. Focus over the first six months (though not exclusively) will be on developing partnerships around our Background Reports product.
a) Office and field based, you will identify and cultivate a pipeline of potential commercial partners.
b) Screen potential partners and test the business case by analysing deal potential, opportunity, financials.
c) Negotiate commercial deals.
d) Manage relationships going forward and pro-actively create sales opportunities.
e) Identify new product opportunities and propositions through discussions with partners.
f) Work closely with the Product and Development teams.
g) Provide regular feedback to the business.
h) Shape and manage the entire sales process.
i) Assisting in the development of all relevant sales and marketing materials.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
a) A proven track record and extensive experience in an online / eCommerce / Affiliate or Digital based business development role is essential.
b) A sound understanding of online dynamics.
c) Self-starter who can spot new opportunities.
d) Excellent consultative sales skills.
e) Excellent organisational and presentational skills with a professional attitude.
f) Collaborative team player with a strong work ethic and an ability to work independently.
