Are you a Qualified Primary Teacher in Oldbury, Sandwell? Or are you a Qualified Primary Teacher in surrounding areas such as Birmingham, Walsall or Wolverhampton and willing to travel to Sandwell? Hays Education are currently recruiting for a Qualified Primary Teacher in this area. If you have a teaching qualification and primary experience and live in either Sandwell, Birmingham, Walsall and the surrounding area then we would like to hear from you.

The Ideal candidate will have recent experience teaching within a Primary School and be able to show strong classroom management skills. You will need to be comfortable with planning and marking work and other duties will include:

Delivering planning
Keeping records up to date and ensuring that other members of staff and parents/carers are informed on pupil progress
Ensuring that the children in the class are safe at all times
Promoting inclusion and encouraging the pupils to develop social, number and language skills at their own pace
Following all school policies and procedures
All marking duties

To be considered a successful candidate you must have completed your qualifying year and be available to a minimum of 3 days per week. This is a term-time only position.

Previous experience within a Primary School is absolutely essential and candidates will be expected to show a high level of understanding and practise. Examples of this must be provided at interview, along with a full employment history. Satisfactory references from all previous employers must be obtainable.

All applicants must have the following to be considered:

Have recent experience of teaching children within a Primary School
(and be able to provide a minimum of two written references)
Hold QTS

We are currently recruiting for a Deputy Headteacher to start in September 2013.

This outstanding Catholic Primary school in West Bromwich is looking for a Deputy Headteacher to join their successful team from the new academic year. The school received an “Outstanding” grade in its most recent Ofsted inspection which highlighted the excellent progress of all pupils and the commitment, collaboration and enthusiasm of the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team. The pupils are mature, polite and supportive of each other and the school offers an excellent support system for pupils with Special Needs.

The school is looking for a non-class based Deputy Headteacher with proven successful leadership experience, who is an outstanding classroom practitioner and has the ability to motivate and inspire others. As this is a Catholic Primary school, you must be a practising Catholic to be considered for this role and a reference from a Priest will be required to evidence your commitment to the Catholic faith.
