Provide technical pre-sales and onsite consultancy based around Citrix Virtualisation technologies and products
Duties are to provide pre-sales support for internal sales team, partners, resellers and enterprise customers.
Consultant / Pre Sales will assist team providing project planning and participate in the deployment of solutions on customer site
Attend customer meetings to provide technical input and recommendations
Must have several years experience in both presales and customer deployments and be certified to CCA level with a desire to progress to CCEE/CCIA.
Knowledge of the following:
Citrix: XenApp, XenServer, XenDesktop, Access Gateway, Branch Repeater Storage: Understanding of SAN and NAS storage, knowledge of iSCSI and FC Networking: Understanding of network topologies–switching, routing and firewalls

My client is looking to hire a Citrix Virtualisation Consultant (CCA, XenApp, XenDesktop)
The scope of the Citrix Virtualisation Consultant (CCA, XenApp, XenDesktop) role is to provide technical pre-sales and onsite consultancy based around Citrix Virtualisation technologies and products.
The aim of the Citrix Virtualisation Consultant (CCA, XenApp, XenDesktop) role is to support and grow the Professional Services offering within the virtualisation team.
Duties will include but are not restricted to:
- Provide pre-sales support for internal sales organization and partners
- Work with collegues to provide project planning and participate in the deployment of solution on customer site
- To attend customer meetings to provide technical input and recommendations
The ideal candidate for the Citrix Virtualisation Consultant (CCA, XenApp, XenDesktop) role will be able to demonstrate competency in both presales and customer deployments. They will also be certified to CCA level, with a desire to progress to CCEE / CCIA technical accreditation level.
Ideally for the Citrix Virtualisation Consultant (CCA, XenApp, XenDesktop) role you will have knowledge of the following:
Citrix:
XenApp, XenServer, XenDesktop, Access Gateway, Branch Repeater
Storage:
Understanding of SAN and NAS storage, knowledge of iSCSI and FC
Networking:

Knowledge of any of the following is desirable:

ROLE:
The role of the Account Manager / Customer Support is to represent NSK and its customers, providing technical and commercial responses to achieve sales orders and build customer relationships. The NSK product range includes approx. 32,000 different parts and this role will advise customers on parts that can be sourced and recommend alternatives. The Customer Service Representative will gain extensive product knowledge over time through NSK’s comprehensive training programme.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) Internally responsible for a designated number of customer accounts to advise on pricing, availability, delivery, problem solving and provide basic guidance on features and benefits, offering alternatives if required.
b) Learn product and system knowledge to meet customer’s needs in particular to process orders, forecasts and schedules, acknowledging customers as appropriate. Liaise with field sales, supply and logistics personnel as appropriate.
c) Prepare, price and deliver quotations using bespoke systems.
d) Follow up on enquiries and quotations to ensure NSK maximise new opportunities.
e) Closely monitor customer order books and liaise with internal departments and customers to ensure on time delivery.
f) Liaise with customers and internal departments to find a balance between the customer’s needs and NSK’s ability to supply profitably.
g) Build professional relationships with customers so that NSK becomes their preferred supplier which will include phone, e-mail, fax and representing NSK during customer meetings.
h) Analyse customer’s technical and commercial requirements.
i) Co-ordinate actions needed to solve customer problems to maintain business relationships.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
a) Proven Customer Service experience (preferably in a similar role).
b) A minimum of 3 GCSE’s at grade C or above including Maths and English.
c) Ability to understand and use Company technical literature.
d) Good keyboarding skills and computer literate including Microsoft Office Suite Software, and experience of bespoke systems.
e) Effective written and oral communication skills.
f) Good and confident telephone manner with the ability to resolve conflict in a calm and professional manner.
g) Self motivated and driven by achievement of deadlines and specific targets.
DESIRABLE SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
a) Experience or interest in the Automotive industry and how things work
