My client, a rapidly growing business in Greater Manchester currently has a requirement for a qualified Accountant to join their team on a 6 month fixed term contract with the real possibility of being made permanent for the right person. Working in the maintenance and repairs section of the business, you will insure that the production of Management accounts and trading statements are in line with approved budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop a 5 year business plan including a 5 year financial plan.
Preparation of all repairs and maintenance budgets
Implementing and introducing a job costing system
Review and update Capitalisation policies for Investment Works
Produce regular performance data for benchmarking
The Ideal candidate will be CCAB qualified and will have experience of working in a construction or manufacturing business.

Job purpose
As a Business Applications Analyst, you will assist in the provision of professional services working

Job responsibilities
Reporting to the Applications Manager, you will investigate, analyse, design and support corporate applications and processes regardless of source including but not limited to HR, Payroll and Finance.
In this pivotal role, you will identify opportunities for improved business change through use of computer applications in collaboration with stakeholders. You will also lead and manage projects according to good practice, the organisation and IT services standards, procedures, documentation and policies.

• Proven experience of collaborating with business users and IT developers to specify changes to corporate applications and services in a medium-large organisation.
• Proven experience of initiating, analysing and solving business system change/development needs and capacity planning.
• Proven experience of managing short-term projects or contributing to larger-scale ones.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to balance customer desires against resources available.
• Strong experience across the full application lifecycle for large enterprise applications including HR, Finance etc.
