Project Manager / Implementation Consultant – circa 40K

Our client is a young and growing company providing information management systems to the newly formed NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups and their member GP practices. Their systems are provided as Software as a Service and an important part of what they do is to work with teams and practices to help them get the system rolled out and to make best use of it. They have taken on more clients and now need to expand their expert team.

Position: Product Implementation Consultant
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne when office based (option for some home based working) regular UK travel required.
Salary: £30-40k, depending on experience and skills
Benefits: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays pro rata, plus pension, expenses and mileage will be fully reimbursed.

ROLE:
This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager / Implementation Consultant or similar to take advantage of the opportunities offered by a growing company. You will take ownership of client implementations and, working closely with the client and the implementation team, ensuring that their clients reap all the expected benefits of their SaaS implementation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) Managing the implementation with the client.
b) Gathering and advising on configuration requirements and ensuring that they are effectively and rapidly deployed.
c) Gathering and advising on requirements for client information management, documenting and communicating these and managing the initial load of information in line with this.
d) Conducting client awareness presentations and training workshops.
e) Representing the clients to the product team, gathering issues and improvements and supporting the team in their implementation.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
a) Proven ability to manage a service based project, maintaining drive and authority in an environment with multiple client roles and conflicting priorities.
b) An ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. This will be with individuals, in meetings, in training and in structured presentations to larger groups.
c) Strong inter-personal and relationship skills, including the ability to build relationships quickly.
d) Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
e) A systematic approach, especially in giving structure and effectiveness to unstructured client information.
f) High level of IT literacy with an enthusiasm and ability to use new IT.
g) A full UK driving licence is required.

DESIRABLE SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
a) Background knowledge or working experience of the NHS, CCGs and Primary Care would be desirable.
