Responsibilities:
This is a very varied and exiting role and your duties will include but will not be limited to:-
• Assisting with resolving calls by coaching using analytical, technical and programming skills following Support and programming guidelines
• Providing coaching to Senior Application and Technical Analysts to ensure calls are accurately investigated and both the cause and the symptom of problems are resolved while taking into account customers' business and operational practices
• Working towards increasing the technical level of skills and competence related to the company’s products
• Working closely with Application support management to provide guidance on the personal development for improvement of their own teams technical skills and likewise make recommendations for their teams
• Project a professional image at all times and develop good relationships with Customers and other company departments
Experience and skills required:
We are looking for candidates with previous experience within support environment.
You also need to be able to demonstrate:-
• Good understanding Windows desktop platforms and applications
• Good understanding of UNIX /LINUX platforms as our applications reside on these and you may be required to help identify / resolve specific issues.
• Some programing experience preferred (but not essential) as courses on our programing language (KCML) will be provided
• Being able to work closely with your colleagues from different areas of our support team.
• Keen eye for detail is essential
