Ambitious expansion & business improvement plans have created a high profile 12-month contract for a SOX Project Manager to support SOX independent testing, financial & compliance audits & management advisory services. Reporting to the Director of Internal Audit, you brief includes:

*Delivering the planning & roll-out of an independent SOX testing programme
*Assisting with annual SOX 404 risk assessment & scoping process
*Scheduling & driving planned financial, operational & compliance audits across a range of key processes, locations & entities
*Evaluation of audit implementation issues & recommendations
*Involvement in & delivery of management advisory service projects

As a graduate qualified ACA, ACCA or equivalent with substantial technical accounting experience of external audit, SOX & controls testing, US GAAP & IFRS alongside an in-depth knowledge of audit principles & techniques, you will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, a flexible approach & the ability to influence senior business stakeholders. Given the multi-site location of the group, the role requires 10-20% UK travel. Immediate start available.

This role at Canon’s EMEA strategic headquarters sits within the Consumer Imaging Group, whose sales and marketing management responsibilities cover a wide range of products and services for the consumer and professional user: photo, video, broadcast, network cameras, projectors, photofinishing, printers, scanners, fax machines and multifunction devices.

The Consumer Insights Manager will develop and execute effective insight strategy in order to continually improve information and understanding about our consumers, enabling informed decisions leading to lifetime relationships.

Responsibilities and Tasks

* Develop insight strategy, ensuring continual improvement of insight collected to gain greater influence over customer purchasing behaviour
* Lead and prioritise the work of the insight team to understand current and potential customer behaviour, ensuring actionable insight that delivers commercial value.
* Produce a broad range of timely, deep dive insights and analysis (both strategic and tactical) of customers and their behaviours that drive superior business decision making.
* Define and manage insight requirements across digital services, digital sales and support in order to understand and manage consumer lifetime value.
* Establish depth, breadth, quality and timeliness of analysis and insights, both strategic and tactical, as a key source of competitive advantage.
* Development of web analytics and the definition of suitable performance benchmark measures.
* Run analytics on data to generate detailed findings
* Create dashboards, KPI reports etc. to in-scope areas and distribute insight to inform sales and drive marketing campaigns
* Develop and utilise an excellent understanding of the digital market
* Use marketing mix modelling and other analytical techniques to thoroughly
* Measure the results of marketing and promotional activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

* Business or Marketing degree preferred

LANGUAGES

* Excellent written and spoken English required, any other European language an advantage.

EXPERIENCE

* Significant experience in customer insight management
* Evidence of developing customer centric insights and analysis that deliver actionable that have delivered commercial revenues
* Experience in the digital sector
* Comfortable working in the most agile of environments
* Experience of working within complex, multi product and customer environment Online, retail and Contact Centre
* Experience of online analytics will be a distinct advantage but not essential

Canon Europe's Consumer Imaging Group are currently recruiting for a Product Sales Development Professional - Inkjet Group - to act as liaison between our National Sales Organisations (NSO’s), major European accounts (Corporate & International Accounts - C&IA) and European Product Management. The Sales Development Professional will be responsible for ensuring NSO sales and market share targets are met in line with overall department and company strategy and drive European business for his/her product category by implementing clear product/market/customer strategy, creating targets, supporting business plans, monitoring & reporting markets progress, and taking action when needed.

Responsibilities and Tasks

* Set, monitor, and report on business plan & budget across all NSO’s for product sales and channel sales in line with Product Management Strategy for defined product groups.
* Set and agree NSO and C&IA customer investment plans together with PM team in order for business targets to be met within overall investment budget
* Report weekly and monthly sales forecasting to key stakeholders
* Analyse, review and share market data for each NSO to ensure that our sell out and market share objectives are being met.
* Be the core business support for any product sales issues.

* Ensure excellent communication links between NSO’s, C&IA and PM to ensure common business objectives are met.
* Visit NSO's as required to strengthen communication links and make sure NSO's are following strategy and achieving targets.
* Regular co-ordination with marketing team to ensure marketing development plans are set to be in line with NSO sales objectives and overall marketing strategy is met.
* Regular communication with supply chain team to ensure smooth and timely delivery of stock to NSO and customers

Track and review investment plans through the system with Pricing & Profit team to monitor and control that the investments match against the agreed plan.

* Special focus on developing strategic Pro area to achieve a key MASH goal.
* Pro-actively develop and manage the IJ group tender business.

Monitor sales for total IJ product groups, together with channel and customer to track sales and find opportunities to further develop business targets

* Support team colleagues as needed with key reporting/analysis for their product groups, and be able to fill in as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential requirements:
- Higher Vocational or University education, in Business or related discipline
- Experience as a product manager, retail merchandiser or demand planning highly advantageous
- Ability to create/ interpret/ manipulate complex Excel spreadsheets (intermediate/advanced level)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong numerical competency, including analysis and statistics
- Must demonstrate advanced strategic planning skills
- Experience and comfort in a fast-paced, dynamic market, where decisions must be taken and executed quickly
- Totally fluent English language skills – other European languages desirable
- European travel, including overnight stays, to strengthen communication links and relationships with NSO's

Desirable requirements:
- Sales or Marketing experience in consumer electronics is advantageous but not essential
- Prior experience in multicultural environment preferred
