Our Client is a national specialist offender learning provider with a wealth of experience in this sector. The role of their Offender Learning Directorate is to develop learning and skills provision, working locally with other partners, to meet the needs of offenders in custody and contributes to the aim of reducing reoffending.

The purpose of these roles is to ensure learners are provided with relevant and easily understood information in relation to the provision of learning and skills within the establishment, and receive continued support. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary approach that seeks to facilitate a smooth transition to the resettlement of the learner into the community.
Candidates must have relevant experience of conducting initial assessments and supporting the learning of individuals and groups with a range of abilities. You must also have experience of successfully working in an effective multi-disciplinary team.
Candidates must also hold a level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy or be willing to gain this qualification within an agreed timescale.
To succeed in these roles, candidates will need to have a pragmatic and non-judgemental approach to their work and the flexibility to adapt to meet learner requirements when necessary.

Our client, a rapidly expanding Public Sector Organisation based in Teesside are seeking a Resource Pool Manager to lead and direct an implementation team in order to effectively coordinate future projects. The role will involve leading a team consisting of staff with varying job roles and responsibilities; from technical to administrative members of staff.

Due to the way in which this organisation is looking to sculpt its future; a candidate who is able to liaise with members of senior management, providing advice and support to ensure that projects are completed and objectives are met within a given timeframe is essential.

Suitable candidates will be Cisco certified with server experience with regard to Active Directory. Experience with Windows 2003/8 is also a requirement. An individual whose networking skills and server skills are of an equally high standard would be desirable, as well as a person with an aptitude for providing advice regarding process mapping and redesign, in order to ensure that the implementation of the new electronic systems is effective.

Duties will include the procurement and installation of IT infrastructure, system administration and immediate post go-live support so previous experience of working within the Public Sector would be desirable, however, not a requirement.

The start date for the position will be on or around May 24th for an initial period of six months, with a view to extending the contract to 18 months. A successful candidate would be called upon to occasionally travel between Middlesbrough and Durham, so a clean driving licence is a necessity.
