My client is looking for a strong Infrastructure Test Manager with solid technical experience. Defining the scope and overseeing all test activities of all 3rd party integrators and suppliers.
You will be responsible to the Test Programme Office for the management of all technical infrastructure testing from the initial data centre build out and installation of application components
• Create Test Documentation
• Analysis of design specifications to identify complete test coverage
• Manage the Creation of Test cases and supporting documentation
• Conduct gap analysis of current test plans/approach
• Identification of all pre-requisites leading to test execution
• Identification of all parties required to facilitate successful exhaustive testing up to point of components and data being integrated to the infrastructure
• Accountable for supplier testing to assure infrastructure build, install, configuration and associated monitoring facilities
• Manage the Execution of test plans/scenarios
• Monitor & report results including defect resolution
• Integration testing into core platform, web services and Customer back end environments Operational and Service Readiness testing
• Defect management & administration -
• Create and maintain documents and ensure progress reporting requirements are met
• Analyse root cause of, and trends in, issues highlighted during testing to identify problem areas, reduce errors and to suggest further improvements in the development process.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in testing data centre builds,
Assuring networks and network infrastructure,
Performance and NFR test experience,
Security accreditation & ITHC (advantage).
You will ideally be experienced in defining test strategies/test planning for Infrastructure test phases.
Experienced in engaging with 3rd party suppliers and overseeing their associated testing activities
Client facing experience within a testing role would also be an advantage.
