With this continued growth, they now have opportunities available for a Deputy Manager and a Team Leader
Deputy Manager £9.68 p/hr – £12.00 p/hr
Within this role you will assist the Registered Manager in achieving the aims and objectives set out in the Statement of Purpose. Deputising in the absence of the Registered Manager, you will ensure that each Young Person has an allocated key worker, making certain staff are aware of each child’s placement plan and their responsibilities for its implementation. You will manage your staff and ensure systems are developed to ensure the effective allocation of resources.
Candidates for this role will be educated to GSCE standard and will hold an NVQ 3 in caring for Children & Young People and ideally working towards NVQ 4. Experience within a supervisory role and working within a residential setting with Young People with challenging behaviours is essential. Counselling Skills, Drugs Awareness Training and experience of acting as an appropriate adult (PACE) would be desirable, however is not essential.
Team Leader £7.50 p/hr - £10.40 p/hr + Sleep Allowance
Within this role you will assist the Deputy Manager in achieving the aims and objectives set out in the Statement of Purpose. Duties include and not restricted to: Ensure that the research programmes are adequately and efficiently planned at all times and for all stages, that requirements capture is robust and that milestones are available and fully committed at all levels. For new research programmes, co-ordinate and assist in the structure and costing of such programmes for PIAP, including plans, budget, risks and resource and facility requirements. Monitor the overall programme activity to ensure unacceptable slippage is flagged an mitigation is put in place to recover to schedule. Monitor the programme performance against cost, schedule (milestone achievement), technical achievement (technical accounts) and risk. Maintain the integrity and quality of programme data, manage programme change control, and ensure programming documentation is controlled and managed. This role is in LOUGHBOROUGH.
You will need engineering or science degree. A business, programme or project management qualification would be advantageous. Able to demonstrate depth of project management experience. Demonstrable depth of engineering principles. Fuel cell or clean technology knowledge. Able to gather, analyse and summarise information to develop appropriate recommendations.
