Proven new business winner required immediately to join the UK's fastest growing Search Marketing agency.
You must have excellent knowledge of digital marketing and previous experience in a marketing/media business development role is essential.
Based in our London office this position offers a competitive basic salary with uncapped commission - £100k OTE.
The ideal candidate will have a track record of securing blue chip SEO and Pay Per Click (PPC) contracts as a minimum. Experience of selling web development, social media and other digital marketing solutions would be beneficial but not essential.
Responsibilities:
* Prospect, qualify and close deals.
* Identify and research business opportunities.
* Completion of RFP/Tenders and subsequent presentations.
* Develop presentations and present proposals.
* Manage sales pipeline and accurate sales forecasting.
* Company representation at industry events.
* Attendance at regular company sales meetings in Leeds Head office.
* Maintaining up to date market knowledge of digital/online industry.
Skills required:
* Outstanding presentation skills.
* Excellent analytical, literate and numerical skills and be an excellent communicator.
* An experienced and hard negotiator.
* The ability to adapt in meetings to seek new opportunities to cross-sell complimentary products.
* In-depth knowledge of search marketing and the future of digital marketing in general.

A Corporate Development Manager is sought by a market leading FTSE-100 company. Operating within the manufacturing and technology sectors, their turnover has grown each year for the past 5 years. They have cash in the bank as a result of record turnover and profits up 23% in FY2012 - they wish to continue growing organically and by acquisition. Their people development is excellent and the role is an ideal opportunity to join a global multi-national business.
They need to recruit a Corporate Development Manager. Reporting into the Group Corporate Development Director (and the Board), you will enjoy a high profile position working closely with the heads of all OpCo’s and departments. Duties will include:
- Managing & executing acquisition, disposal and joint-venture transactions including the review & negotiation of contracts
- Undertaking detailed reviews of major CapEx & reorganisation projects
- Supporting the Group 10 year strategic plan to ensure its success
- Providing reports for Chief Exec / Board relating to Corporate Development
- A range of ad hoc Board Level analytical / transactional projects
The new Corporate Development Manager is likely to be a qualified ACA with excellent academics. You must possess demonstrable M&A or transactional experience gained either in practice, a Corporate Finance boutique or a similar in-house Corporate Development role. An ability to talk to non-finance people, gravitas and professionalism are key, whilst contract negotiation / SPA experience would be an advantage. Progression is expected as the company is very good at promoting & retaining its staff.

Our client is a Private Equity backed international science and technology business which holds a leading position in the markets it operates in. With a turnover in excess of £200 million and over 2,000 employees worldwide, the business has a clear strategic vision and exciting and aggressive growth plans across Europe, the US and the Far East.
The business is now looking to strengthen its senior management team by recruiting a commercially oriented divisional finance professional. Reporting into the CFO and with significant exposure to the Divisional MD and Board, your responsibilities will include:
• Acting as a strong business partner to the MD and a key member of the Divisional executive team
• Managing the divisional financial planning and analysis process including the implementation of KPIs and enhancing the commercial and operational value of any management information produced

• Leading and directing the divisional finance team ensuring effective financial controls and processes in place and identifying and acting on opportunities for process improvement.
The successful candidate will be a commercially oriented qualified accountant with experience of working within a complex international organisation, used to operating with a high attention to detail.
A confident self starter, you will have a proven track record of developing and building strong relationships and have the credibility to work both cross functionally and with the Board. You will have an entrepreneurial approach coupled with an ability to drive business thinking and will enjoy a collegiate, change oriented and fast paced environment.
