The BizTalk Administrator is responsible for ensuring systems are secure and comply with legal and NHSLA requirements. The post holder will act as the key link between IT&T and various application teams in the wider Trust. The post holder will be responsible for performance tuning, regular housekeeping, Change Management and Disaster Recovery for the NHS BizTalk environments. This individual should be very experienced in BizTalk administration. This is NOT a developer role, though understanding and abilities gained through development experience are a plus. This position will also provide the opportunity to become the secondary database administrator. This role will include administering daily backup jobs, performing backup and restore tasks, troubleshooting performance issues and assisting with database deployments. To be considered for this role, you will have experience in: Support of website, web services, SQL queries, problems escalated from 2nd Line support. This is a reactive and proactive support function. Resource will be working on troubleshooting issues reported into 1st and 2nd Line Support (reactive), as well as, taking responsibility for reviewing and analysing areas of improvements within the system/application and addressing upcoming needs for upgrades, addressing potential problems within application and improvements (proactive). The ideal candidate will have excellent troubleshooting and people skills, while possessing the ability to identify that need improvement through their knowledge and experience of supporting the BizTalk application. The position is less about development - Candidate may do some coding and draw on some of their knowledge with regards to coding and being able to work with and read code, but coding and development are not the primary objective of this position. Oracle Developer/DBA urgently required for my dynamic client based in London. Due to a number of system changes that have recently been implemented my client are in need of an all round Oracle developer to help ensure hey are getting the most from their middleware Oracle systems. My client’s technology stack is primarily Oracle on an AS400 system where they are looking to do more reporting and data manipulation with the Oracle systems.
