Due to the firms location they are commutable distance from all areas of Leicester, Warwickshire and Corby / Kettering. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Management Accounting will support all activity's relating to the firm's monthly accounting. Due to business growth this new role and would be perfect for an Assistant Accountant who is looking to take the next step and take more responsibility. Role duties will include assisting in the preparation of monthly / quarterly and annual accounts, business analysis & interrogation, assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and developing the understanding of departmental profitability. The ideal candidate will be actively studying for either CIMA or ACCA and able demonstrate that you have first class communication skills, that you are proactive and have the potential for future career. The role is based at the firms head office and is commutable from all areas of Leicester and Coventry / Warwickshire. Reporting to one of the Financial Controllers, the Management Accountant will be responsible for monthly accounts activities for a set of the firm's sites. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Finance Manager will be responsible for all of the Financial Accounting activity's for the business, which has a turnover in excess of a 100 million pounds. The role will be based at the firms head office, this is commutable distance from all areas of Leicester, Coventry, Derby, Nottingham and Northampton. The Finance Manager will lead a team of 8 staff and be responsible for the organisations statutory accounting, budgeting/forecasting, long term business planning, group reporting, process improvement, VAT / corporation tax and assisting / deputising for the Head Of Finance. The client is keen to hear from candidates that are ACCA or ACA qualified with a minimum of three years post qualified experience. The successful candidate will be driven and capable of developing and leading a team, you will have excellent communication skills - being able to present at board level.
