NHS South Commissioning Support Unit (CSU) is establishing itself as a Commissioning Support Organisation providing a service to Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) across Hampshire, Surrey and Dorset.
We are now looking to recruit to posts to help complete our structures and create a vibrant, ambitious, energetic and ‘can do’ organisation. We are building in NHS South CSU, an organisation that delivers excellent service which is customer-focussed and therefore patient-centric in all that we do, we will use our values to ensure we recruit a workforce able to deliver our customer expectations.
Data analysis will feature heavily in this role, meaning excellent excel skills are a must; 2013/14 will also see the implementation of a new contract management system which will lead to the rapid development of reporting outputs.
Reporting to the Associate Director of Contracting, the successful applicants will be:
• Responsible for the review, analysis and presentations of the monthly financial performance data for the nominated healthcare providers.
• Analysis of areas of over-performance and lead on financial review including identification of corrective actions.
• Review of options for strategic service changes within the health economy with evaluation of the financial effects of proposed options.
There are two posts available, the first is based in Eastleigh, Hampshire and will require you to provide financial leadership into the management of a major acute provider contract, namely Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, as well as providing support into the overall portfolio within the team facing North Hampshire and West Hampshire CCGs.
The second post will be based in Leatherhead, Surrey and will require you to provide financial leadership into the management of major acute provider contracts, including Epsom & St Helier, Kingston and St George’s, as well as providing support into the overall portfolio within the team facing Surrey Downs CCG.
